Throughout the entirety of Little Nightmares 2, the game sets players up to believe that both Six and Mono will stick together through thick and thin. However, it is possible to piece together the game's lore by paying close attention to the numerous details spread throughout the game. Nothing really explains what the events of the game mean, let alone the ending. Similar to Little Nightmares, Little Nightmares 2 sports very little dialogue if any at all. The female protagonist from Little Nightmares, Six, will return as a companion as the two of them go from one creepy place to another. Little Nightmares 2 puts players in the shoes of a young boy named Mono, who journeys through the Pale City to find out the reason behind the world-disrupting humming transmission.
